Through SDC, youth leaders are given the opportunity to make a difference in their community while encouraging disability justice. Starting her first year at SDC, Jasmine is a grade 11 student on the Dance Company program at North Surrey Secondary School. This year, she is thrilled to be serving as an Operations Associate on the Headquarters team and looks forward to helping SDC achieve their goals. In her spare time, Jasmine can be found catching up on sleep, creating dance choreography for her competitive team, and practicing her dribbling
and shooting skills for basketball. A fun fact about Jasmine is that she has been dancing for over eight years, and she is now a Bhangra coach for her high school dance team! Overall, she is beyond grateful to be a part of the youth team at SDC, where they will work together to shine light upon disability justice.
