“There’s some good in this world… and it’s worth fighting for”

-Sam from Lord of the Rings

Passionate, dedicated and impactful, Tiffany Chang has been a remarkable contributor to the Social Diversity for Children Foundation. As one of the committee members for SDC, she has played an instrumental part in aiding many of the fundraising efforts throughout the last year. “SDC is fighting for something so meaningful and purposeful. I want everyone that has been/is a part of SDC to never forget what or who they’re fighting for.” Despite only being in the Social Diversity for Children Foundation community for a year, Tiffany is truly deserving of the Person of the Month Award for June. An award aimed to acknowledge the vital work of people in the SDC community.

Born in Vancouver then moved to Montreal to study at McGill University, Tiffany is currently a consultant and pursuing an MBA degree at the IE School of Business. Tiffany strongly believes we are all fighting for something special and nothing is too small to fight for. Everyone is equally important and deserving of a fair chance. As a consultant, she helps support children by equipping them with the skill set for their future development. In her spare time, Tiffany Chang enjoys spending time with her family and relaxing in nature with her two dogs.

One of Tiffany’s first encounters with SDC is through a pro bono collaboration between SDC and the consulting firm she works for. Since then, Tiffany has become a pleasant part of the Social Diversity for Children’s Foundation. From leading an initiative to help fund a virtual reality program to raising $70 000 during COVID-19 to support various programs, Tiffany’s work has made an enormous impact.

Furthermore, not only did she help fundraise, but Tiffany also taught some music and art classes in the previous fall, working alongside participants. Tiffany strives to help and positively impact the programs after seeing how essential educational programs are for children with disabilities “It was truly an amazing experience to be a part of something so wonderful and meaningful” in her time with SDC, supporting the mission the Social Diversity for Children’s Foundation fulfills, Tiffany has realized that charities are not only present to provide financial assistance but to make a vital impact and help everyone succeed in life in numerous ways.
