SDC Program Refund Policy
SDC considers offering programs for children with special needs an integral part of our mission of sharing love and compassion to people of all abilities. These programs offer a space for children to enjoy themselves and grow their abilities, encouraging socialization between children with special needs of various ages.
There are multiple types of refunds that will be offered to participants wishing to withdraw at different dates from Social Diversity for Children Foundation programs.
1. Refund for withdrawals more than 7 days away from first program session
To receive a full refund, the participant must withdraw from the program more than 7 days before the first official start date of the program, and is subject to a $10 administrative fee
Participants who withdraw from the program within 7 days before the first official start date of the program, or after the first session of the program, will not be eligible for a full refund of the program
2. Refund for withdrawals within 7 days before first program session
A participant will receive a partial refund if they withdraw from the program within 7 days to the official start date (ex. 7 sessions if were registered for 8 session program), and is subject to a $10 administrative fee
Withdrawing close to the start of the program causes the music teacher to rearrange program plans and lessons, creating more difficulty for all the instructors working hard to make the program happen
3. Refund for withdrawals after first program session
A participant will receive a partial refund if they withdraw after the first lesson
The partial refund will consist of the cost for the remainder of sessions that the participant is withdrawing from (ex. $70, for 7 sessions in a 8 session program), and is subject to a $10 administrative fee
Participants will be only be eligible for a partial refund after attending the first official session of the selected program
4. Withdrawals after second program session
According to SDC’s official policy, there will be no refunds offered at any date after the second session of the program
