Giving back, one mask at a time

SDC understands that during these tough times, there can be feelings of helplessness during these times of isolation. However, now, more than ever, it is so important to stick together and continue our battle against the COVID-19 pandemic.

On April 15th, 2020, SDC was able to provide a total of 3300 disposable masks to Pinegrove Place, Courtyard Gardens, and Gilmore Gardens in Richmond. This is thanks to the help of our generous donors from the COVID-19 Relief Fund. Being able to help out those more vulnerable to COVID-19 and seeing the pure appreciation from the people who have received PPE was an awe-inspiring experience.

From the bottom of the hearts of the SDC members, SDC is grateful for everyone who has supported the COVID-19 Relief Fund and is doing its part to lessen the effects of this worldwide pandemic; it is truly changing the lives of those in immediate need one donation at a time.
