SDC Foundation announces the annual fundraising gala to empower children and youth with special needs
Vancouver, BC – Social Diversity for Children Foundation sincerely invites the community to the much-anticipated SDC 2024 CURV Once Upon a Shine Gala, Presented by Beeta Education on January 27, 2024. This signature charity event will be held at the Vancouver Convention Centre, where guests will witness a night filled with love and miracles.
The gala celebrates a year of unwavering efforts and significant achievements by the participants of SDC. It is not merely a night of performances but a soulful journey; a unique opportunity for attendees to immerse themselves in a colourful and magical experience alongside the children. The evening serves as a platform for SDC's participants to confidently share their stories and talents in an environment that celebrates their individuality and creativity.
A highlight of the evening will be the heartfelt performances prepared by SDC participants, who have dedicated an entire year to this moment. With pure voices, unique artistry, and unwavering determination, they will present a feast for both the eyes and ears. These performances promise to resonate deeply with the audience, reaffirming the inherent value, talent, and unique narratives each individual possesses.
In addition to the performances, the gala will feature auctions, including one-of-a-kind art pieces crafted by the children themselves. These pieces are not only a reflection of their unique perspectives and innovative thinking but also symbols of their hopes and dreams.
The night will also be a time to share powerful stories of challenges, growth, hope, and love – stories that deepen our understanding of the lives of SDC's children and reinforce our belief in the potential within each person to be the protagonist of their own life story.
